Police in the U.K. are still not saying a lot about the case of three women thought to have been kept in 'domestic slavery' for 30 years in a house in Brixton in South London.
The three women who have been rescued are now in the care of an NGO, and the couple at the centre of the investigation have been released on bail until January next year.
But, as more details of the case slowly emerge, it seems that all five were part of a small, leftist political sect that came out of the world of radical Maoist politics in 1970s London.
